Gene has more then thirty years of experience in the masonry restoration and preservation industry. Gene is a graduate of Arch Bishop Ryan High School and attended Drexel University 's engineering program, as well as being a part of the US Naval Reserve Construction Battalion.
Gene began his career as an apprentice, sponsored by Palmer Bros. Brick Pointing., and later earned his journeyman card working for various union companies such as Structural Maintenance, Joseph Dugan and Palmer Waterproofing. After seven successful years of self-employment, handling projects ranging in size from $1,000 to $300,000, he joined the Mara Restoration team as Field Operations Manager.
Gene is responsible for the day to day field operations, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, in the allotted timeframe, and on budget, as well as scheduling field operations personnel. His direct field experience, together with his education and leadership ability enables him to be a versatile member of Mara's management team.
